Matthew Parker As European Sales Director

 

StepStone ASA, Europe's leading independent online recruitment company, today announced the appointment of Matthew Parker as European Sales Director for Enterprise Solutions. Matthew will be responsible for spearheading StepStone's sales initiatives for the HireEnterprise solution in the UK and across Europe.

Matthew brings more than 15 years experience in IT sales and general management. He joins StepStone from global recruitment specialists, i-Grasp Limited, where he spent two years as Sales Director successfully selling in the UK, Europe, US and Asia Pacific. Matthew not only brings an in-depth knowledge of the enterprise recruitment solutions market, but also a strong track record of consistent revenue delivery and customer success. Prior to entering the recruitment solutions sector, he spent several years in sales and general management roles at Copysprint, TNT and Canon. Based at StepStone's corporate headquarters in Guildford, UK, Matthew will report directly to Ralf Bauman, Managing Director of StepStone's Enterprise Solutions Division.

Although masked in the current economic climate, Europe faces an underlying and long-term shortage of people and skills. Just as in other business functions, companies are looking to take better control not just of the recruitment process, but also of the supply chain. This means using technology to build relationships with candidates ahead of time, so that staff can be hired quickly and efficiently as specific needs arise.

Under an exclusive partnership with Hire.com, StepStone is responsible for sales, marketing and support of the HireEnterprise product suite in Europe. A number of global organisations are already using the Hire.com solution for European recruitment including BP, Reuters, Adobe, and Roche. In addition StepStone offers the StepStone OneStep solution for smaller and medium size companies.
